Max Reinhardt's, A Midsummer Nights Dream (1935), Act IV, Scene 1: Oberon and Titania

This clip of Oberon (Victor Jorey), Titania (Anita Louise), and Puck (Mickey Rooney), gives a glimpse of the glittering brilliance of much of Reinhardt’s film: elsewhere in the film the fairies become a cloud of pretty dancing girls. These can readily be seen on YouTube!
