It appears that the deconstruction of Shakespeare may be progressing apace at the rebuilt Globe Theatre. The current production of Romeo and Juliet as reviewed by London's Daily Telegraph seems to complete a process begun so effectively last year:
All supporters of the restored Shakespeare's Globe Playhouse will be relieved to discover that it has been rescued from the present ruinously misguided attempt to rebuild it as a modern theatre. Their censures seem not to have been in vain.
